1. NVSP(National Voters' Services Portal) is an online website where you can apply for a voter ID card - https://www.nvsp.in/.
2. The website offers all voter id card-related services such as registration, information search, correction, and download of E-Epic cards (voter id cards).
3. To apply for a new voter ID card, the applicant must first register on the website, fill out FORM 6, contact your area's BLO(booth level officer), and submit the Aadhar card to them and wait for your voter ID card to come by post.
4. For corrections in the details of the applicant, the applicant must fill out FORM 8, contact your area's BLO, submit your aadhar card and wait for your voter ID card to come by post.
5. An applicant can also download his/her E-Epic card, track application status, and search for his/her name in the electoral roll.
6. This is the format of the Epic card aka Voter ID card.
How many days it takes to get Voter ID card?
I submitted my application on 21/09/2022, it was finally accepted on 28/09/2022. I will keep you update if I get any update from the department.
